The sun is hot, the waves are crashin’ and in the summer season nothing is sexier than being natural. I mean, not au-natural though: Let’s be real. Every cool bitch needs some water-proof mascara, a swipe of chapstick, and a comb.

Beach Babe Look How-to:

Urban Decay Tinted Moisturizer with an SPF 20 - This tinted moisturizer feels so light and airy on your skin, while giving you really nice coverage. Apply an SPF 50 or higher sunscreen to your face thirty minutes or so before applying the moisturizer, to ensure that you don’t burn

Lancome Waterproof Mascara - Any waterproof mascara will work, but this one smells like roses! You can curl your eyelashes before applying mascara if you’d like. Apply to upper and lower lashes.

These are the two must-haves for your beach ready face! If your skin is a little too shiny from the sunscreen and moisturizer, you can swipe on some sheer powder with an spf packed in. You can swipe on some chapstick - Burt’s Bees is my favorite - or a lipgloss if you’d prefer. Feeling naked? Good. You should feel bare, and you should enjoy it! As for you hair, please don’t curl or straighten your hair to go to the beach. You’ll look like a tool. In fact, don’t put any product in your hair - unless a quarter sized dallop of a deep conditioning moisturizing mask (That will prevent beach breakage and dry-out). Run a comb through your hair in the morning, and let the water and sand have it’s way with your locks! That tousled look is sexy, it’s wild!
